Congratulations to Mulroy College students and their manager Mr. Shay Murrin on winning the First Year Boys GAA Blitz today.
7 school teams in total competed in the blitz with Mulroy College Milford overcoming Deele College Raphoe in the final.
The group stages saw Crana College top the group followed by Coláiste Ailigh and Finn Valley College.
Group 2 resulted in Mulroy College topping the group followed by Deele College, Gairm Scoil Chú Úladh and Errigal College.
The semi final pairings saw Mulroy College and Deele College overcoming Coláiste Ailigh and Crana College respectively leaving a rematch on the cards with Mulroy doing just enough to secure victory over a hardworking Deele College side.
Mulroy had strong performances all over the field with Kyle Burns, Eoghan Logue, Shane Coll most impressive. Congratulations to all the teams involved in what was a great day of participation and sportsmanship.
