As part of a safe driving programme compiled and led by Ms Catherine Crawford, Mulroy College Transition Year students learnt about; the theory of safe driving, how to fill in the licence application form, how to change a wheel, check the oil and questions that are asked in the theory test. The most exciting part of all was when each of them got behind the wheel under the careful supervision of local driving instructor Mr Hugh Doherty. They covered areas such as primary and secondary control, moving off and stopping. Students enjoyed the experience and greatly benefited from it.
