Mulroy College Leaving Cert Applied Class host a German Christmas Party
The Leaving 
Certificate Applied class visited the Milford and District Over 65s club on Friday December 5th to celebrate a very German Christmas.
The class prepared a German themed Christmas party, serving a variety of traditional German Christmas foods, such as Stollen and Lebkuchen, spiced biscuits and pralines. They played traditional board games with the members of the Over 65s club and also learned some new card games from the older generation.
Students also interviewed the club members about growing up in the Milford area in the past.
It was a really enjoyable experience for all involved and a great chance for the younger and older generations to get together and spend a little time getting to know one another.
A special word of thanks to Mary O’Donnell and the other members for allowing us to join them. We hope to meet up again in the future.
