A recent change made by Google is currently affecting SMS delivery for Android users utilising Google Messages. Google’s AI filtering potentially results in legitimate messages being flagged as spam and therefore not correctly delivering.
This change is completely out of our hands but if Android users are reporting issues around SMS delivery they can follow the insructions here.

Oíche na hÓige will see hundreds of youth clubs and services open their doors to celebrate their members, and their youth workers and volunteers, and to build awareness of youth work in your community. The HSE National Social Inclusion Office are hosting a webinar for parents and guardians with a specific focus on the psychoactive substance HHC on Tuesday 7 October, 11:30am – 1:30pm. This webinar is designed to support parents who are concerned about young people’s use of vapes containing psychoactive substances and related drugs. Our HSE Health and Wellbeing, Tobacco Free Ireland Programme Lead, Martina Blake will also be speaking at the webinar about the work underway on vaping and pouch use and resources for parents. Key Topics Include:
- Emerging drug trends and what parents need to know;
- The role of parents in guiding healthy decision-making;
- Risks associated with cannabis-related substances, including HHC;
- Prevention strategies and practical steps for families;
- Support services available locally.
