DSC0755712 Transition Year students from Mulroy College were lucky to be selected to participate in Key Programme. This is a cross border cross community programme for students aged over 15. There were 900 students from both North and South of Ireland participating. This involved 4 residential activities in Roscor Activity Centre in Co Fermanagh. The activities participated in were – sailing, canoeing, hiking, camping, interview preparation, mini enterprise.

Of the 900 participants, 25 were then selected as an Entrepreneur of the Year award and from these12 will be selected to enjoy a trip to Canada.  Aaron Sweeney from Mulroy College has been selected as one of the 25. The group have all been invited to the Waterfront Hotel in Belfast on the 23rd May where the outcome will be known.

In addition to the main award, Emma Louise Mc Ginley and John Noel Devenney have been nominated for the mini company of the year.  Patrick Mc Conigley was awarded Sales person of the year and Gerard Higgins won the best interview effort. All in Mulroy wish them well and we hope that they will be successful.
