Megan’s success is celebrated

First year students gathered together to celebrate Megan Ryan’s success as she recently was part of the girls under 16 team that won the Ulster title. Megan addressed the students informing them about her journey towards victory.  Well done Megan. She is pictured below with her aunt Ms Ryan and PE teachers Mr McElwaine and Ms Crampsie.

Students return to Mulroy College

Past pupils Nicole Carr  and Amy Friel returned to Mulroy College to speak to 6th year students about surviving the Leaving Certificate and advised the students on everything they need to know about going to college.

A big thank you to the girls and we wish them well in their end of year exams.

TY in Translation!

TY French students from Mulroy College participated in a translation project this year. They translated a brochure in French for Castle Grove House and Country Hotel. They hand delivered the French translation to Irene and Caroline Sweeney in Castlegrove. They were very well welcomed and were offered a tea and scone for their hard work. The two hostesses then kindly gave a tour of the wall garden to the students and explained to them the running of the hotel. A beautiful morning was spent in the grounds of the hotel.
